Regular contributor to Electro-candy – Dan Lipscombe is organising a charity gaming event on the 5 June 2010 to help two very worthy causes- Great Ormond Street Hospital and the children’s charity Child’s Play.
Here is what he had to say about it, in an email he sent yesterday.
Points For Life is a charity event that will take place on June 5th 2010, it is a charity event aimed at videogame players and it’s our chance to give something back. The idea of the event is to ask people to sponsor us to gain achievement points, PSN trophies and Steam Achievements. Play will start at 9am on June 5th and last for 24 hours, it’s up to you to earn as many achievements/trophies as you possibly can. Your sponsors can sponsor you per point or trophy, or they can just sponsor the event.
If it floats your boat, you can find out more info via the following methods:-
